Salman Ahmad Issues a Four-Day Ultimatum and Challenges Imran Riaz
Salman Ahmad, a well-known musician, has given journalist Imran Riaz Khan four days to speak out and explain his position on the political asylum dispute. Salman Ahmad had earlier said he personally spoke with former U.S. diplomat Richard Grenell to help Imran Riaz with his asylum application. Salman Ahmad has challenged Imran Riaz since he has not officially acknowledged or responded to this claim.
Salman Ahmad said, “The people of Pakistan deserve to know the whole truth,” in a direct appeal to Imran Riaz. I shall be forced to reveal my version of events if you are unable or unwilling to engage with me in a neutral Twitter space within three days.”
Salman Ahmad also asked why, given the gravity of the allegations, Imran Riaz had said nothing. He recommended that Imran Riaz speak candidly about the situation if he has nothing to conceal.
Salman Ahmad also suggested that Imran Riaz watch the classic political thriller “Three Days of the Condor,” implying that the movie’s themes of deceit, secrecy, and covert objectives might be relevant to the current state of affairs.
The public’s interest in the subject has grown, and many are now waiting to see if Salman Ahmad will react or if Imran Riaz will reveals more details in the coming days.
“Try as you may, I won’t be blackmailed,” Imran Riaz responds to Salman Ahmad.
