Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again offered talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed that the PTI is avoiding talks while speaking at a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad. Assuring them that the administration is prepared to establish a House Committee for discussion, he asked them to speak up.
He underlined that the administration had previously interacted with PTI in good faith and is truly ready for negotiations.
“Our committee requested that PTI provide written demands. The negotiations occurred in a positive environment, and we approached the discussions with a receptive mindset,” he said.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed optimism about Pakistan’s progress, stating, “InshaAllah, we will realize the dream of national development and prosperity.” He also emphasized the State Bank’s announcement of a one percent interest rate cut, which highlights the government’s resolve to advance the nation.
He added that efforts are being stepped up to combat human trafficking and that some illegal acts have damaged Pakistan’s reputation internationally.
