In an extraordinary decision, the Lahore High Court dismissed a petition seeking the return of missing PTI activist Farhan Chishti. Justice Abhar Gul denied the plea, querying why the Defense Secretary was named a respondent. Lawyer Khadija Siddiqi contended that whenever law enforcement authorities (LEAs) apprehend someone, the court must determine their whereabouts. On the same day, Justice Raja Ghazanfar issued notifications in a similar case, emphasizing inconsistencies in judicial rulings.
