A bench, led by Sarfaraz Dogar, has been formed to address the issue of restricting meetings with Imran Khan.

The Islamabad High Court has made a significant step in cases involving meetings with former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan. A wider bench, chaired by Acting Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar, has been appointed to hear more than 20 cases. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Azam Khan are also on the bench.

Earlier, the Adiala Jail administrator asked the court to merge all matters involving Imran Khan’s meetings into one session. The court considered the concerns and approved the request.

Jail officials claimed that having separate sessions in different benches caused extra complications. They also noted that SOPs for Imran Khan’s meetings had already been established. This decision streamlines judicial proceedings, ensuring that all matters are processed by a single unified bench.
